On September 20 and 21, 2025, ePARA announced the launch of “ePARA × Saudi Vision 2030” at HACHIMANTAI 8 FIGHTS 25, held at Appi Kogen Ski Resort in Hachimantai City, Iwate Prefecture. The project aims to promote cultural exchange between Japan and Saudi Arabia through barrier-free esports and to foster understanding toward the realization of a barrier-free society.
As one of the selected project operators for the FY2025 “Subsidy for Project Costs for Petroleum Refining Technology and Related Measures in Oil-Producing Countries,” ePARA will carry out activities under the project name “ePARA × Saudi Vision 2030” and the catchphrase “Road to Saudi 2030” to promote exchanges between Japan and Saudi Arabia, regardless of disability status.

HACHIMANTAI 8 FIGHTS 25 Overview
HACHIMANTAI 8 FIGHTS 25 is an inclusive esports event based on the concept of “a place where everyone can stand side by side as challengers,” where players with disabilities and non-disabled players gather together to interact and compete through fighting games.
Originally launched in Hachimantai City in 2023 as HACHIMANTAI 8 FIGHTS, the event is held annually and marked its third edition this year. As a tournament where all participants can take the stage as “individual players,” regardless of disability, age, or game experience, it has attracted increasing attention each year.
