On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at the Japan-Saudi EXPO Investment Forum held at the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai site, ePARA signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Saudi Arabian esports company Hawk Gaming Group.
Saudi Arabia has positioned esports as a national strategy under Vision 2030. In 2017, it established the Saudi Esports Federation with Prince Faisal bin Bandar as its chairman, and in 2022 it announced the National Gaming and Esports Strategy. In July and August 2025, Esports World Cup 2025 was held in the capital city of Riyadh, and the first Olympic esports event is scheduled to be held in 2027.
Hawk Gaming Group is a full-service gaming and esports company based in Saudi Arabia. In line with the country’s national gaming and esports strategy, it supports the vision of making Saudi Arabia “The Center of The Game.”
As esports gains momentum in Saudi Arabia, ePARA, following its selection in March 2025 as one of the project operators for a subsidy program administered by the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, is currently working on an initiative to connect Japan and Saudi Arabia through barrier-free esports exchanges.
Through this MOU, ePARA will collaborate with Hawk Gaming Group toward realizing an inclusive world.
